At the Rayner Foundation we enjoy and support cycling! Whether you're dreaming to be the next Tour de France winner, or planning an epic multi-day adventure we salute you for sharing our deep love of the sport. For 20 years we have organised the ETAPE du DALES as a road ride in memory of the foundation's namesake, and there's no denying that it is a serious challenge. Following last year's success the ETAPE du DALES is back for 2026! The same challenging terrain as you have come to expect from the team that has delivered this iconic event for over 20 years!

With a brand new HQ in the centre of the market town of Settle we have an exciting prospect for 2026, taking in a whole host of stiff climbs and challenges in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

ETAPE du Dales #1 A BIG day out!

The ULTIMATE Dales challenge ride. With around 3200m of climbing this is a serious challenge, BUT with the right preparation and LOW gears it's a GRAND day out!

MINI Etape #2 A taste of YORKSHIRE Gold

Not ready for the BIG one? Then this really does give you a taste of YORKSHIRE Gold. Some of the county's most spectacular scenery wrapped up in just over 100km

DALES GRVL Etape #3 The HIGHS and LOWS of the Dales

Up HILL and down DALE. With the majority of the ride on good gravel tracks you will be spoilt with expansive views over the DALES
